Fontainebleau-Avon station: first field application for the Station & Mobility project - Efficacity

Fontainebleau-Avon station: first field application for the Station & Mobility project

As part of the project to transform the Fontainebleau-Avon railway station, rail operator SNCF selected Efficacity to conduct the programming studies into new services for the station. The study forms part of the approach adopted by the “Relais des Possibles” project headed by SNCF and the local authority, Communauté de Communes du Pays de Fontainebleau. It consists of an “industrial demonstrator for the sustainable city” (DIVD) enjoying government support, designed to exploit French excellence in the area of sustainable cities by encouraging the emergence of innovative projects. Work on the study will begin in April and run for a period of 4 months, during which time the tools developed by the Station Hub will be tested under real conditions for the first time. The test will be carried out in partnership with Cerema and AREP Design Lab.
